Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can be applied to specific areas of the face and body to rejuvenate and refresh your appearance, smooth out contours and plump certain areas in your physique. They’re also a key part of my signature treatments, EdenSculpt and NefertitiSculpt

My name is Dr. Sam Ghazawy.  As a qualified medical doctor with over 25 years’ experience in medicine and facial surgery, I offer high-quality, minimally invasive dermal filler treatments to men and women from my clinics in London and Bournemouth.

The Choice is Yours

Choose individual fillers for your:

Lips, cheeks, jawline, temples, or brows.  Likewise, talk to me about neck smoothing treatments, or a non-surgical liquid rhinoplasty procedure.  Dermal fillers are also excellent for softening nasolabial lines, and “marionette” lines.  Plus, they’re great for your hands and feet, buttocks, decolletage and other areas.

Or,

With EdenSculpt or NefertitiSculpt, aim for the balanced “golden triangle” of facial aesthetics, with a focus on classically defined proportions.  These more comprehensive treatments sculpt, volumise and plump your facial contours; a new, improved you awaits.  But - still YOU.  Both include Botulinum toxin for outstanding anti-wrinkle results.

The Choice is Yours

Above all, dermal fillers aren’t about perfection.  Done correctly and carefully, these aesthetic treatments can help you to look better, feel better and embrace every day with a spring in your step.

What Are Dermal Fillers?

The dermal fillers used for facial rejuvenation at EdenMed are all composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the human body.  They break down gradually over a period of months.  There are different types of hyaluronic acid fillers, each suited to distinct applications.  The one I choose for you will match your needs.  And, as far as possible, the end results you’re aiming for.  I use Juvederm, Belotero and Princess/Saypha.

Dermal filler treatments work by plumping the skin back to its fresher, more youthful appearance, giving a firmer definition (to your jaw or chin, for example), restoring volume and/or reducing the appearance of wrinkles through collagen replacement.

And, there’s…

There are also other, non-hyaluronic acid fillers.  For example, Radiesse. These filers have different properties, such as skin remodelling and collagen formation. I use Radiesse as part of my signature Brazillian Bum Lift

How I Work

  • We’ll have an in-depth consultation before the treatment starts.  I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have – so, don’t be nervous, fire away.

  • For a better result, a safer process and substantially reduced discomfort and bruising, I nearly always use a microcannula.  With extensive experience of this technique, my medical know-how as an eye surgeon, as well as an understanding of the facial structure of the face, is your gain.  Please be reassured that you will be in safe hands.

  • I apply a microcannula through a small “port” in the skin, lightly gliding it through the layers of tissue. Through ultra-gentle separation of the layers, the device deposits the filer into the superficial or deeper tissues.

  • I may also use Botulinum Toxin (BTX) to enhance the results, for a natural and effective outcome.

A Note on Safety

Whilst risk-free treatments don’t exist – anywhere, in fact – the likelihood of complications is incredibly low.  In fact, it’s less than 1%.  Again, let me allay your fears in our consultation.
