The Best Lip Fillers In Chelsea and Bournemouth

Lip fillers

Lip fillers give us the opportunity to restore volume in maturer lips that may have lost some of their "Wow!", or to give you the kind of shape you've always dreamed of. The most advanced microcannula technique for hyaluronic acid lip fillers in Chelsea and Bournemouth.  Better-looking lips to help you feel more confident and beautiful every day.  This is your Guide to Lip Fillers: lots of useful information to help you make a fully informed decision.

Why have lip fillers?

Lip fillers are a great way to rejuvenate your appearance – subtly, naturally, and safely.  They’re minimally invasive and non-surgical.  With a little careful after-care, they could be just what you need for a New You.

If you’d like to have plumper lips, or simply a better lip definition, I can help. Are you after a particular shape?  Or a more pronounced pout?  Perhaps you have fine lines around your mouth from smoking, or through the natural ageing process.

I’m Doctor Sam Ghazawy (MB, ChB, MRCP, MRCSEd, MRCGP) and as a fully trained and highly experienced medical professional, I can help you achieve the self-confidence you deserve, with lip filler treatments to help you look and feel at your absolute best.

My work is subtle, yet noticeable.  That person in the mirror will still be the real you. Yet, with a refreshed, enhanced look to make you smile. I specialise in natural enhancement, bringing out the existing beauty of your lips.

Did you know…

…Lip filler enhancements are now vying with Botox and Azzalure anti-wrinkle procedures as the most asked for facial rejuvenation treatment?  Used correctly – that is, in the correct proportions and in the right anatomical position, they can volumise and freshen for wonderful, natural-looking results.  You’ll need to maintain the treatment every 6 to 12 months for the best outcome

What are lip fillers?

Contemporary aesthetic cosmetic lip treatments have evolved. There are now a variety of dermal fillers based on hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in our bodies.  Being natural, these products integrate and become part of the skin. Providing very natural and long-lasting results, when administered by expert hands.

Each manufacturer offers products with various properties and uses, therefore all treatments and recommendations are bespoke.  However, they all have one thing in common: they’re created in highly purified and sterile conditions.

I use:

  • Saypha

  • Juvederm

  • Restylane

  • Belotero

From Dr. Sam, a qualified, surgically trained General Medical Council-registered Doctor…

I nearly always use a microcannula . This is safer, and in my view, likely to be much more comfortable than standard needle injections. My medical skills and experience in ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgery has given me an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy and physiology.

In other words, I know the structure of the human face and how to adapt my technique specifically. With an emphasis on form AND function, this gives better results.

Do the injections hurt?

I focus on the following 4 things to minimise discomfort:

  • Assuming you have no history of allergies, I’ll use a numbing cream, which is very effective.

  • All HA lip fillers contain lidocaine, the same anaesthetising agent used in dentistry.

  • I nearly always use my pioneering microcannula technique (see above) - so much gentler and with less risk of bruising than a needle.

  • I’ll help you to breathe deeply in a relaxing environment, Think: yoga breathing styles – I’m a big fan.

Is it safe?

Whilst there are no such things as risk-free medical cosmetic treatments, please be assured that I have the experience and skills that you need.  I’ve got over 25 years’ experience in medicine and facial surgery, and I’m a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Royal College of Physicians and Royal College of General Practitioners.

In our consultation, we’ll cover the risks and discuss everything you need to know.

Regarding follow-ups, most repeat treatments are between 6 and 12 months.
