What does it involve?
It involves placing different filler combinations using a microcannula into various points of the skin and subcutaneous layers to rejuvenate, lift and enhance facial features.
How much filler is used and what type of filler is it?
5 ml of Hyaluronic acid filler is used. Hyaluronic acid makes up 90% of your skin and is a naturally occurring substance.
How long does the procedure take?
The consultation and procedure take about an hour. Generally speaking, there is no downtime and you can resume normal activities immediately after.
Is it safe?
As with any procedure, there are risks. There is a small risk of infection, bleeding or bruising, but generally this risk is less than 1% and is greatly reduced by Dr. Sam's skilful and gentle approach (having been trained in the most delicate art of eye and eyelid surgery, Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh). Other risks associated with dermal fillers are very rare indeed.
When will I see results?
Results are immediate, but the final result, when any swelling has fully settled and the hyaluronic acid facial filler fully incorporated into the skin, will be seen at 6 weeks.
How long do the fillers last for?
Tear trough filler typically lasts for 6 months and you may need a touch up after the 6 week settling in period (half price). Other facial filler areas last for between 12 and 24 months.
How much does it cost?
The Package is £1099 for 5 ml. Tear trough tweak after 6 weeks, if needed, costs £175 (half price)
