As the phrase suggests, Aqualyx fat dissolving injections literally “dissolve” stubborn areas of body fat. This could be the non-surgical treatment you’ve dreamt about but didn’t know existed. Or, maybe you’ve heard of it and need some more information. Read on. This is everything you need to decide whether Aqualyx is right for you.
Is this You?
No matter how careful you are with your diet, or however strong your commitment to exercise, you could be carrying unwanted “excess”. For example, on your upper arms, your abdomen, under your chin, on your thighs – anywhere, in fact. And, perhaps it’s worse now than when you were younger.
EdenMed has clinics in London and Bournemouth, and we’re here to help you look good and feel as good as you look. Yes, that includes a sleeker version of you.
My name is Dr. Sam Ghazawy and I have some good news:
As long as there’s at least 1.5 cm of fat in places that you don’t want it to be, I have the qualifications, experience and expertise to administer a safe treatment to dissolve it.
You can read more about my background here.
Feel Confident in Your Body
If you’re self-conscious about certain areas, Aqualyx fat dissolving injections from EdenMed could change your life. Literally. How? Through removing hard-to-shift fat, permanently. Yes, as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, it’s gone for good. Those fat cells are destroyed. No more avoiding the beach or wearing long sleeves in the summer. Life is for living, and it will be my privilege to help boost your confidence and your self-esteem in this way.
How Does it Work, and How Is It Administered?
Firstly, this is NOT liposuction.
Aqualyx contains deoxycholic-acid, a secondary bile acid and endogenous substance. Mixed with a small amount of anaesthetic, I’ll introduce it under your skin with a cannula. Thus, the fat cells will swell and rupture, with the degregated fat within them being excreted via the kidneys in your urine. The procedure may sting a little (but not much) but it’s very safe – and it works.
Things to Know
Please be sure to drink at least 2 litres of water in the days before your treatment, as well as for two weeks afterwards. This is quite a lot, admittedly. However, it will help your lymphatic drainage system to clear the fat from the broken-down cells.
Afterwards – there may be some redness. Most importantly, the area will swell. This is a good sign as it means that the fat cells are breaking down. The swelling will reduce over approximately 4 weeks, with the final results visible after 3 months.
Do feel free to take painkillers if necessary but avoid anti-inflammatories. These can cause blood thinning and increase the risk of bruising.
Again, the results are permanent. If you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
How Much Will You Need?
Aqualyx fat dissolving injections are sold on a per-vial basis, with a maximum number of 5 for each treatment.
